Diedre (Dee Coleman)'s Story

Dee Coleman Huston A Jane of many trades & master of some...LOL... attended Centennial High in 1969 during her junior yr & found that 1 summer class would provide the extra credit to allow her to skip the senior yr. Oh yes; young, eager to work & become an adult, this was a plan! After walking with the graduating class of 70, she spent the next 6 years living & traveling in the western U.S., parts of Canada & Mexico, holding unusual jobs for women of the 70's such as mastering the use of gaffs to climb telephone poles while installing cable TV lines, being one of the first female traffic flaggers for highway construction, without the luxury of port-a-potties :( & being a dog catcher avoiding any need for euthanization :) After returning to Champaign in 1976, Dee worked for the Secretary of State Drivers License Facility, became a licensed hairdresser, Re-met her future husband in 1977 (first meeting in 1970). olwell Systems, 5 yrs at Kraft, is currently assisting with the re-opening of an eclectic resale store. Being a collector/buyer of antique & unique items for the past 30 yrs has given Dee the knowledge & resources for her venture with the Estate Resale Shop, which is planning to re-open in the spring of 2011, and Dee is available for hire as a picker for established business'. . Dee has fancied cats all her life, raising and fostering many, working with the local Humane Society and Catsnap organization. Showing Household pets, Norwegian Forest Cats & Turkish Vans in the CFA (Cat Fanciers Association) & TICA (The International Cat Association) was an added privilege & positive challenges and many cherished friendships. Dee is married to Bill Huston (yes, Billy the bullet) who is responsible for the joys of the past 30 years of her life. Dee & Bill reside in Mahomet, Il. with their four footed furry kids.
